Tomorrow I turn 40! To celebrate this final day in my 30’s, I’ve let the book nerd in me come out in full force. I placed a big order on Amazon and am sharing 30 of my favorite reads below. (Do I know how to party like I’m 39 or what?!)

  3. Fight Back With Joy: Celebrate More. Regret Less. Stare Down Your Greatest Fears. by Margaret Feinberg (And while you’re at it, go ahead and read every other book from this leader friend.)
  4. The Best Yes: Making Wise Decisions in the Midst of Endless Demands by Lysa TerKeurst
  5. The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results by Gary Keller

I’m looking forward to diving into these reads soon:

  1. Brave Enough: Getting Over Our Fears, Flaws, and Failures to Live Bold and Free by leader friend Nicole Unice
  2. Rising Strong by Brene Brown (to be released August 25!)
  3. Fierce Convictions: The Extraordinary Life of Hannah More Poet, Reformer, Abolitionist by Karen Swallow Prior
  4. Lunch in Paris: A Love Story, with Recipes by Elizabeth Bard (because there’s a Paris trip in my near future)
  5. For the Love: Fighting for Grace in a World of Impossible Standards by Jen Hatmaker (to be released August 18!)
